Portions of Kingstown Road between the Peace Dale Rotary and Welcome House, as well as Railroad Street will be closed to traffic between 2pm and 6pm to allow for a bike and pedestrian friendly event! But the fun doesn’t end at six, we have lots more planned until 10pm!

Check out Peace Dale Neighborhood Revitalization, Inc.’s facebook page for the latest updates on bands, food vendors, activities, etc. As it will be a bike and pedestrian friendly event, we encourage people to *Bike to the Block* and take the bike path from any of the great locations between the Kingston Train Station and Narragansett, and bike (or walk) on into the Peace Dale Block Party!

Sis Boom Bonnie, Providence Roller Derby’s Community Relations Coordinator, has organized a skating demo and meet and greet with fellow skaters, such as Shotz of Petrone, Terror Swift and Scarizard. Starting at 5:15pm, 12 skaters will divide up into two teams to put on a 30 minute exhibition game held at 43 Railroad Street, Peace Dale, RI. There will also be a booth filled with Providence Roller Derby merchandise, recruitment information and skaters available to answer any of your derby related questions!
