What about if you haven’t skated in years?

Most of us started that way as well! While prior skating or other athletic experience is certainly encouraged, it is not required of any type of league member, especially those who see themselves playing a more supporting role in the league. If you are committed to dedicating the time, we will show you the tools to train yourself into a roller athlete!

Providence Roller Derby is a community inclusive of women of all sizes, ages and backgrounds. You must be 18 or older to skate with the league; However, we welcome volunteers and non-skating officials of all ages! Men, while all our teamed skaters are women only, there are lots of opportunities for you too!
